Support Keeping Piute Trails Open In Sequoia National Forest

Working with stakeholders and the community the Sequoia National Forest staff has released the Proposed Action for the Piute Travel Management Plan. They propose to keep virtually all existing roads and trails open in order to provide diverse dispersed recreation access for people to enjoy off roading, hunting, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and more.

The Forest Service needs a letter of support from each person who wants to keep these trails, roads open.

In just TWO MINUTES you can help by submitting a letter using pre-drafted comments or your own comments to the Sequoia National Forest voicing your support for these roads and trails to remain open.

These trails lead to vistas, scenic byways, creeks and primitive camping and are enjoyed by thousands of people with their families each year. The Forest has requested the public to submit comments which they will use to help determine if these roads and trails should remain open.

Please ACT NOW. Click the link below to create your letter.
